Hong Kong Communication Art Centre has established six Colleges in Languages, Technology, Business, Education, Design and Performance and ten centres in a range of languages. These centres have been providing professional and effective training programs since the eighties. Our teachers and courses have been approved by and registered with the Education Department. We strive to provide quality education to enhance the competence of participants for their careers and personal development, and to encourage the interflow and enjoyment of Eastern and Western art, culture and technology.

CAC's philosophy is to strive for dynamic excellence for students in their chosen profession and to ultimately excel beyond their peers. For example, our students from the design college won the Best Design Awards at the 10th Footwear Design Competition Hong Kong 2007. Awards at the Tsuen Wan District Singing Contest & Kowloon District Mandarin Singing Contest were also won by students from our Performance College. Students also won the Best Creativity & Performance Award at the Cheer Leading Competition Hong Kong.

Our Institute is nationally recognised as a BTEC HND Higher Diploma educator. CAC had also been elected as one of the Top Ten Asian Institutes in 2006 by the Business & Technology Education Council [BTEC], and with CAC now offering BTEC Level Six courses too, it has become the first institute to offer courses on par with UK bachelors degrees.

Our Institute is encouraging students to more often get into the society activities and the spirit of public welfare instead of solely academic activities. For example the「Youth and Students' Gala Performance 」that was held on May 02 2007、the「Youth Parade Carnival」held on May 06 2007 and the "July 1st Handover 10th Anniversary Gala Performance".

In 2005, the "Ten Outstanding Designers Awards" was introduced to stimulate designers to work towards personal career goals and contribute to as well as encourage and motivate the local design and creative industries. Having received immensely positive feedback, the Awards have become an annual highlight within these industries.

Followed by the success of the "Ten Outstanding Designers Awards" event, the"Outstanding Greater China Design Awards 2008" was launched to publicize the creative industry of Greater China and encourage cultural exchange in the Far East, in the hopes to give international market's recognition for the designs and creativity from within Greater China.

The Hong Kong Arts & Design Festival also presents Academic Fashion Shows, the HKADF Fashion Design & Model Competition, 18-District Singing Contest, Photography Contest, HKCAC - Yan Chai Hospital Charity Gala Dinner and seminars for design.

In recognition of his contribution to the field of education, the present CAC principal William Eng was awarded the Asian Outstanding Vocational Educator Award in 2006. As well as putting into practice his high educational ideals, Mr. Eng, who is active in charity work, and an advocate in holistic education, has also been an inspiration to our students.

Our radio channel, the CAC Channel was established on 11 Nov 2006 as part of our effort to implement both holistic education and general education.
The CAC Theatre was also set up this year as a means of promoting drama education, through our provision of professional drama tutors, school tours, and drama workshops to local primary and secondary schools.

The Communication Art Centre aspires to provide Hong Kong with technical experts. By boosting creativity and room for development among students, and adhering to our ideals of professionalism and pursuit of excellence, we pledge to strive for a better future for our students.
